We recommend signing up for FedEx Delivery Manager — a free service that lets you:

Request a hold at a local FedEx location for pickup

Request vacation holds of up to 2 weeks
FedEx Delivery Manager also offers premium (paid) options, such as scheduling a specific delivery date or time window in the event that you prefer to be home during delivery.
For orders with In-Home Setup & Removal by Ryder:
If you selected and paid for In-Home Setup & Removal at checkout, the Ryder team will contact you directly to schedule your delivery date — these deliveries will require an adult signature upon completion.
